SHROUD OF TURIN
The shroud of Turin seems rather miraculous, doesn’t it? See https://www.newgeology.us/Shroud.pdf. Also see this video youtube.com/watch?v=aSWCb8eDT-k.
Also, HIDDEN ITEMS in Shroud of Turin Image
The shroud appears to be the burial cloth of Jesus showing his image at his resurrection, with all of the wounds of his crucifixion. The light of his resurrection appears to have made the image.
Would you call that a miracle? I don’t think there really are miracles. Jesus said all the things he did we will do, so that suggests that we will be able to do such things ourselves eventually. I think we or some of us eventually may be able to resurrect in a similar way at death, but hopefully without suffering crucifixion or any other torture.
NOAH’S ARK
In this forum post https://www.thunderbolts.info/forum3/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13&start=720#p8013 I said “huge drop stones with holes for ropes are found in a straight line for 8 miles approaching Mt. Ararat. They were likely used to keep the ark upright on wavy seas. A petrified bark is found which may have covered the ark.”
That comes from this video: youtube.com/watch?v=hRoQL7W5jg8.
This article https://creation.com/the-mystery-of-ancient-man explains why there must have been advanced civilization before and after the Great Flood. The ark was an example and the early megalithic structures after the Flood were too. Knowledge of such technology was lost over time, until some of it started to come back in recent centuries, but even now it’s doubtful that much of the technology known at that time can be equaled.
BIBLE HISTORICITY
Many historians consider the Bible to be mostly fiction, but evidence for much of it keeps coming to light. Charles Chandler did a lot of work constructing his model of Bible history at http://qdl.scs-inc.us/?top=5675. He thinks most of Bible history is fairly accurate. I don’t think the story of Samson is accurate at all, personally. It’s absurd. But some of the Bible stories are likely to be lessons, like parables, instead of actual history. Following are some recent findings showing Bible historicity.
Evidence for Ancient Israel Discovered in Egypt
The name of Israel is on the Merneptah stele from 1210 BC.
Searching for the earliest mention of the Israelite's God, "Yahweh."
A temple in Soleb, Sudan, by Amenhotep III from 1400s BC has a hieroglyphic inscription that says Land (of) Nomads (of) Yahweh (Y = 2 feathers, ah = house, w = noose, eh = bird).
CS Lewis' short book On Miracles is pretty illuminating.
