Why Millions of Christians (Including Ted Cruz) Are Wrong About Israel
Zionists apparently have long conspired to fool people, especially Christians, into supporting their tyrannical scheme in Palestine/”Israel”. Before I discuss the above video, I’ll first discuss some with Candace Owens. {See update at the end.}
CANDACE OWENS
Candace Owens has been highly critical of the Scofield Bible and its influence on American Christian attitudes toward Zionism and the modern state of Israel. Her main points of criticism are:
Scofield Bible as the Source of “Dispensationalist Heresy”: Owens argues that the widespread belief among American Christians that they are biblically commanded to support the modern state of Israel stems from the Scofield Reference Bible. She claims this interpretation is a “dispensationalist heresy,” not rooted in the original biblical text but rather introduced through Scofield’s annotations, which were the first widely distributed set of explanatory notes printed alongside scripture. She asserts that these notes mislead readers into equating biblical references to Israel with the current political state established in 1948.
Scofield’s Background and Zionist Influence: Owens further alleges that the Scofield Bible’s dispensationalist theology was “factually funded by the World Zionist Congress,” implying a deliberate effort to sway American Christians toward supporting Zionism and the state of Israel. She describes Scofield himself as “an absolute fraud” and criticizes the practice of telling people “how to read their Bibles” through such annotated editions.
Distinction Between Biblical Israel and Modern State: She challenges the idea that biblical passages about blessing Israel refer to the modern nation-state, specifically questioning whether references in Genesis to “Israel” are meant to be applied to the contemporary government or territory. Owens insists the Bible does not command Christians to support the current government of Israel, as is often claimed by some evangelical leaders.
Broader Critique of Zionism and Evangelical Support for Israel: Owens argues that Zionism has co-opted Protestant evangelical Christians in the U.S., leading them to prioritize political support for Israel based on what she sees as a misreading of scripture. She characterizes this as a “machiavellian abuse of power” and links it to broader conspiratorial themes about manipulation and propaganda.
OPENING VIDEO BIBLE EXPLANATIONS
The first video above has the following explanations why Israel in the New Testament does not mean the present nation of Israel.
The video argues that “Israel” in the New Testament does not refer to the modern state of Israel or to all physical descendants of Abraham, but rather to those who have faith in Christ—Jew or Gentile—who are considered the true children of Abraham and heirs to God’s promises. The presenter systematically works through several New Testament passages to make this case, emphasizing that the fulfillment of God’s promises is found in Christ and those united to Him by faith, not in ethnicity or national identity.
Key Bible Quotes and Explanations from the Video
1. 2 Corinthians 1:20
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in Christ.”
The presenter explains that all of God’s promises, including those made to Abraham, are fulfilled in Christ. This means the promises are not tied to ethnic Israel or a specific nation-state, but to Jesus and those who belong to Him by faith.
2. Galatians 3:16, 19, 22
“The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say ‘and to seeds,’ meaning many people, but ‘and to your seed,’ meaning one person, who is Christ.”
Paul is interpreted as teaching that the promises to Abraham were ultimately about Christ, not all of Abraham’s physical descendants. The benefits of these promises are given through Christ to those who believe, regardless of their ancestry.
3. Galatians 3:7
“Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.”
The “children of Abraham” are defined not by DNA but by faith in Christ.
4. Romans 9:7-8
“Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children... it is not the children of the flesh who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as offspring.”
The presenter underscores that being a physical descendant of Abraham does not automatically make someone an heir to the promises. Only those who are “children of the promise” (i.e., those with faith) are considered true Israel.
5. Romans 9:6
“For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.”
This is used to show that there is a distinction between ethnic/national Israel and the “true Israel” of faith.
6. Romans 8:17
“Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ...”
Only those in Christ are heirs to the promises, not all ethnic Jews or Israelites.
7. Hebrews 11:13-16, 39-40
The video points out that even Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and later figures like David and Samuel, though they lived in the land, recognized themselves as “foreigners” and were looking for a “heavenly country.” The fulfillment of the land promise, therefore, is not ultimately about a piece of geography but about the heavenly inheritance in Christ.
Summary of the Video’s Explanation
The New Testament redefines “Israel” and “children of Abraham” as those who have faith in Jesus, not those with a particular ethnic lineage or national identity.
All God’s promises—including the land—are fulfilled in Christ and shared with those united to Him by faith.
The modern state of Israel is not equated with the “Israel” of the New Testament in terms of inheriting God’s promises.
Conclusion:
According to the video, the New Testament teaches that “Israel” means the community of faith in Christ—Jews and Gentiles who believe—not a political nation or ethnic group. The cited Bible passages are used to support the view that the true heirs to God’s promises are those who belong to Christ.
ZIONIST SCHEME
The Scofield Reference Bible was first published in 1909 by Oxford University Press. It was later revised by Cyrus I. Scofield in 1917.
The purpose of the World Zionist Congress, as established at its first meeting in 1897, was to create a publicly recognized, legally secured homeland for the Jewish people in Palestine.
John Nelson Darby (1800–1882), an Irish clergyman and a leader in the Plymouth Brethren movement, is widely recognized as the father of modern dispensationalism. Darby developed and systematized the core ideas of dispensationalism in the 1830s and 1840s, distinguishing between God's separate plans for Israel and the Church, and introducing concepts such as the pre-tribulation rapture and the division of biblical history into distinct "dispensations" or eras.
Darby’s eschatological doctrines—especially premillennialism and the idea of a pre-tribulation rapture—became widely popular in the United States, particularly among Baptists, Old School Presbyterians, and later Pentecostal and evangelical denominations.
His teachings spread through influential preachers like D.L. Moody and the Niagara Bible Conferences, and were further popularized by the Scofield Reference Bible, which embedded dispensationalist notes directly into the biblical text.
Dispensationalism became a defining feature of much of 20th-century American evangelicalism, shaping how millions of believers understand biblical prophecy, Israel, and world events.
BRITISH SCHEME
Several prominent British leaders supported Zionism in the early 20th century, most notably during World War I. The key figures and their motivations are as follows:
Leader; Role/Title; Support for Zionism; Reasons for Support
David Lloyd George; Prime Minister; Strong; Believed a Jewish homeland was morally right and politically useful; sought to gain Jewish support for the Allied war effort, especially from the U.S. and Russia.
Arthur Balfour; Foreign Secretary; Strong; Issued the Balfour Declaration supporting a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine; motivated by religious convictions, sympathy for Jewish history, and strategic wartime considerations.
Winston Churchill; Colonial Under-Secretary (1908; )Supportive; Saw a Jewish state as strategically beneficial for the British Empire, placing a friendly power at a key geographic crossroads.
Herbert Samuel; Home Secretary, later High Commissioner for Palestine; Supportive; Early advocate for Zionist ambitions within the British Cabinet, proposed British support for Zionism in 1915.
Main Reasons for British Support
Strategic Wartime Advantage: British leaders believed that supporting Zionism would help rally Jewish support worldwide, particularly in the United States and Russia, which could aid the Allied war effort.
Religious and Emotional Motives: Some leaders, especially Balfour and Lloyd George, were influenced by Christian Zionist beliefs and a sense of historical justice for the Jewish people.
Imperial Interests: Establishing a friendly Jewish presence in Palestine was seen as a way to secure British influence in the Middle East, at a crossroads between Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Diplomatic Calculations: The British hoped that their support for a Jewish homeland would legitimize their postwar presence in Palestine and help balance competing promises made to Arabs and Jews during the war.
Imperialism is the policy, practice, or advocacy of extending a country's power and dominion over foreign nations, often through territorial acquisition or by gaining political and economic control over other areas. This can involve direct military conquest, economic domination, or cultural influence.
Key aspects of imperialism include:
Expansion of power: A stronger nation dominates or controls weaker regions or peoples, often treating them differently from its own population.
Methods: This control can be achieved through military force (“hard power”), economic leverage, diplomacy, or cultural influence (“soft power”).
Motivations: Motivations for imperialism have included the desire for wealth and resources, belief in cultural or racial superiority, strategic advantage, and the spread of religion or ideology.
Historical examples: Major empires like the British, French, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese empires engaged in imperialism from the 16th through the 20th centuries, often at the expense of indigenous societies. The United States has engaged in various forms of imperialism, especially from the early 20th century onward.
In summary, imperialism is about one nation or state establishing and maintaining dominance over others, often to exploit resources, spread influence, or secure strategic interests {or to commit genocide/democide}.
ZIONIST ROTHSCHILDS
Edmond James de Rothschild (France) is known as the "Father of the Settlement" for his extensive financial support of early Jewish agricultural colonies in Ottoman Palestine, beginning in the late 19th century. His contributions enabled the establishment and survival of many Jewish communities, laying groundwork for future statehood.
Lionel Walter Rothschild (UK) was the recipient of the Balfour Declaration in 1917—a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour expressing government support for a Jewish national home in Palestine. Walter Rothschild was chosen as the addressee because of his status as an unofficial leader of the British Jewish community and his connections within both Jewish and British elite circles.
Political Influence: The Rothschilds, especially in Britain and France, used their social and political connections to help Zionist leaders like Chaim Weizmann gain access to British policymakers, which was crucial in securing the Balfour Declaration and advancing the Zionist cause.
JEWISH CRITICS
Neturei Karta and the Satmar Hasidim are religiously anti-Zionist, viewing the creation of a Jewish state before the Messiah as heretical. They have also criticized the secular, elite leadership of the Zionist movement, including the Rothschilds, for undermining traditional Jewish values and community autonomy.
Jewish Voice for Peace (U.S.), IfNotNow, Independent Jewish Voices (UK/Canada), and Jewdas (UK) are contemporary Jewish groups that oppose Zionism and criticize the role of wealthy elites in Israeli and Jewish communal politics. They call for justice, equality, and an end to what they see as oppression and exploitation in the name of Zionism {like in Gaza?}.
UPDATE: EZEKIEL WASN’T REFERRING TO NOW
UPDATE 7/5/25. My friend, Geoff, a Jewish Christian, has commented below, saying he agrees with only 25% of this post, so I’ll add some more info here.
There is substantial evidence and scholarly consensus that Ezekiel 36:24-28 was not referring to the modern state of Israel, but rather to the restoration of the Jewish people from Babylonian exile and the renewal of their relationship with God in their ancestral land of Israel.
Key points from scholarship and commentary include:
Historical Context: Ezekiel was writing to the Israelites exiled in Babylon in the 6th century BCE. The promise to regather them "from the nations" and restore them to their land directly addresses their historical situation following the Babylonian conquest and exile.
Theological Motivation: The passage repeatedly emphasizes that God’s motivation is to vindicate His holy name and demonstrate His power and faithfulness to the nations, not because of Israel’s merit. This theme is rooted in the ancient context of Israel’s exile and the surrounding nations’ perceptions of Israel’s God.
Covenant Language: The language about returning to the land, receiving a new heart, and God dwelling with His people echoes earlier biblical covenants (e.g., Leviticus 26:12-13) and is tied to the theological restoration of Israel after exile, not to a modern political entity.
Scholarly Interpretation: Many biblical scholars and commentaries interpret Ezekiel 36:24-28 as a message of hope and restoration for the exiled community in Babylon, with some also seeing it as having broader spiritual or eschatological implications, but not as a direct prophecy of the 20th-century establishment of the State of Israel.
No Direct Link to Modern State: The text itself does not mention or anticipate the modern nation-state or its specific political circumstances. Its focus is on spiritual renewal, communal restoration, and the vindication of God’s reputation in the ancient world.
In summary, the original context and intent of Ezekiel 36:24-28 are rooted in the Babylonian exile and the ancient covenant relationship between God and Israel, not in the modern geopolitical events of the 20th century. Any application to the modern state of Israel is a later theological or ideological interpretation and not the original meaning of the passage.
The Babylonian Empire had conquered almost all the area along the eastern Mediterranean, and many Judeans scattered to places beyond Babylon itself, such as Egypt, Ammon, Moab, and Edom. The phrase “from all lands” in Ezekiel 36:24—“I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries”— reflects this broader dispersion in the ancient Near East.
PURITANS & MORMONS WERE/ARE ZIONISTS
I just came across this article, which takes the Zionist movement back to the Puritans.
Puritan leaders were among the first in Christian history to interpret the Old Testament prophets as predicting a future return of contemporary Jews to Palestine, rather than understanding those prophecies as referring primarily to the return from the Babylonian exile. Influential Puritans such as Increase Mather, Thomas Goodwin, William Gouge, and Joseph Mede argued that the promises of restoration and return to the land found in the prophets had not been fully fulfilled in the post-Babylonian period, and thus pointed to a future, end-times return of the Jewish people to their ancestral land. This interpretation marked a significant departure from traditional Christian readings, which generally saw the prophetic promises as fulfilled in the return from Babylon or as spiritually fulfilled in the church.
Rosicrucianism began with the publication of three anonymous manifestos in early 17th-century Germany: the Fama Fraternitatis (1614), Confessio Fraternitatis (1615), and Chymical Wedding of Christian Rosenkreuz (1616). These texts introduced the legendary figure Christian Rosenkreuz (or Christian Rosenkreutz) as the putative founder, said to have lived from 1378 to 1484, traveled in the Middle East, and established a secret brotherhood devoted to esoteric wisdom and spiritual renewal. Among the Puritans, especially those in New England, Rosicrucian and alchemical ideas found a receptive audience. Puritan clergy and thinkers such as Edward Taylor and the influential Mather family were exposed to Rosicrucian literature and Kabbalistic texts, which influenced their spiritual metaphors and mystical imagery. The presence of Rosicrucian works in Puritan libraries suggests a gradual softening of attitudes toward esoteric subjects, and elements of Rosicrucian philosophy—such as the symbolism of the Tree of Life—appeared in Puritan writings and sermons.
Joseph Smith, founder of Mormonism, was a Freemason. {Mormonism promotes Zionism, IMO.} He was initiated as an Entered Apprentice and passed to the degree of Fellowcraft on March 15, 1842, in Nauvoo, Illinois, and was raised to the degree of Master Mason the next day. Many early Latter-day Saint leaders, including Joseph's brother Hyrum Smith and possibly his father Joseph Smith, Sr., were also associated with Freemasonry. The Nauvoo Masonic Lodge, which Joseph Smith helped establish, quickly became the largest in Illinois, and a significant number of Latter-day Saints joined. Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism have historical and philosophical connections, especially from the 17th century onward. Many Masonic historians argue that modern Speculative Freemasonry is deeply indebted to the Rosicrucian movement. Early speculative Freemasons in England, such as Sir Robert Moray and Elias Ashmole, were either Rosicrucians themselves or strongly influenced by Rosicrucian ideals, and these influences helped shape both Masonic ritual and the founding of organizations like the Royal Society.
KABBALAH WAS EVEN EARLIER
Kabbalah, or Jewish mysticism, developed out of earlier forms of Jewish mystical thought but taking recognizable form in 12th- and 13th-century southern France (Provence) and Spain. Foundational Kabbalistic texts such as the Bahir and the Zohar appeared during this period. The Zohar, for example, was written in the late 13th century, likely by Moses de León, and became the central text of Kabbalistic tradition. Christian criticisms of Kabbalism focus on its use of occult and mystical practices (such as numerology and secret rituals), which many view as unbiblical and potentially dangerous; its doctrine of the ten sefirot, which appears to divide God’s unity and is seen as incompatible with both Christian and Jewish monotheism; and its teachings—like reincarnation and esoteric scriptural interpretations—that conflict with core Christian beliefs about resurrection, judgment, and the plain meaning of scripture. Overall, Christians often see Kabbalah as introducing doctrines and practices fundamentally at odds with orthodox Christian faith.
I believe “secret rituals” are dangerous.
Acts 19:13–17 describes a group of itinerant Jewish exorcists, specifically the seven sons of Sceva (a Jewish chief priest), who tried to cast out demons by invoking the name of Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.” However, the evil spirit responded, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” The possessed man then attacked and overpowered them, leaving them wounded and fleeing naked. This incident became widely known, leading to fear and respect for the name of Jesus among the people of Ephesus. The episode illustrates that simply using Jesus’ name without genuine faith or authority was ineffective and even dangerous.
Hosea 1:9 Then said God, Call his name Loammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.
Hosea 1:10 Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Isaiah 7:8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.
The above verses point to the House of Israel (10 Tribes) that were scattered after the Assyrian captivity. The key phrase is "not a people" or "Lo-Ammi".
1Peter 2:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Zionists confuse either from ignorance of the Bible or just plain brainwashing the Jews with all the 12 tribes of Israel.
Ezekiel 36 is talking to the "House of Israel", not the "House of Judah".
Eze 36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
Prof. C. A. L. Totten, of Yale University, says:
"I can never be too thankful to the Almighty that in my youth he used
the late Professor Wilson to show me the difference between the two houses. The
very understanding of this difference is the KEY by which almost the entire Bible
becomes intelligible, and I cannot state too strongly that the man who has not yet
seen that Israel of the Scripture is totally distinct from the Jewish people, is yet in the
very infancy, the mere alphabet, of Biblical study, and that to this day the meaning of
seven-eighths of the Bible is shut to his understanding."

Have a great day!
This discourse is the kind of discussion I love because 5 years ago I was weak at patents and the Bible yet after Covid G-d chose those 2 lanes for me, next cancer to connect the dots. You definitely covered the Rothschild's incriminating 2015 "Covid [20]19" patent for me several times, yet not seeing corruption, control and profiteering warrants wonder. Patents main purpose is 100% profit protecting, and in this case it's blood money genocide.
I learned that World patents are upwards near 75k-100k before legal fees from a lawyer friend during the 3rd-party independent #Covid Audit https://WHOtoSTOP.com. Do you truly feel the 2 Vanderbilt Coronavirus patents and Rockefeller's invention to Alter our cells (DNA) are Kosher and part of the monopoly boys repentence to heal? Ezekiel is a book I know well, as you chose to call my autobiographical work, Geoff's Ezekiel Moment, which I loved for 3:16-21.
With a deep understanding of large book prophets Isaiah and Ezekiel Escotology context, 1 major difference appears other than 1 was murdered by a Jewish King & (a Zecharia narrative worth writing) is Isaiah got his visions/prophesies scattered, while Ezekiel was linear when scribing history. I believe like the synagogue of Satan in Revelations, the Ezekiel quote speaks of both Babylon & near upcoming to now events. I believe we are in chapter 36 and the dry bones (ch 37) describes Holocaust bones (3 or 4 generations ago for me; exodus 20:5, 34:7, Numbers 14:18, Deut 5:9) reassembling to lead the great resurrection. What sets apart Western Judea-Christian theology from Eastern reincarnation is found here. Chapters 40-48 go into detail of the 3rd great Temple with specific proportions never accounted for in history, so again linear.
