One question, if you don't think the Bible is the inspired word of God then why would you believe in Jesus?

The stories mentioned in this article I believe happened, God can do anything he wants even make the sun stop moving or make a donkey talk. Why would you not believe in the Bible.

35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Matthew 24:35

I already said the shroud of Turin is the best evidence to me for Jesus' existence and his resurrection. The New Testament helps explain Jesus and the shroud in more detail. But God doesn't need to make humans write a book in order to communicate with us. Paul said the Letter kills, but the Spirit gives life, by which he seems to have meant that the words of the Bible can be misleading, but the spirit or intent behind the words are what are reliable. It's like why Jesus said he incarnated in the first place. The Old Testament had been misinterpreted so badly that he came to teach God's intent correctly. The New Testament did a better job, but it has been misinterpreted quite a bit too, although it's being corrected by finding older versions.

The Old Testament says God spoke to Moses in a burning bush, but Stephen in the Book of Acts said an angel spoke to Moses in the burning bush. The Old Testament also says someone spoke to Abraham; it calls them in turn men, then angels and then Lord, referring to the same being/s in each case. This is evidence that angels inspired the Bible on God's behalf. When the Bible says the word of God came to someone, it's talking about the word that angels of God spoke, IMO. Moses was the first writer of the Bible and Abraham was before his time, so when it says the word of God came to Abraham, it could not have meant that the Bible came to Abraham. The words of angels of God came to Abraham.

Jeremiah 31:33: "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."12

Hebrews 10:16 quotes the Jeremiah passage: "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws on their hearts and I will inscribe them on their minds."3

The law is Jesus' example of Love for All. That's what God via his angels etc will write in our hearts and our minds. Not?

The shroud of Turin could be from anyone. No proof it was the linen that was used to wrap Jesus' body. It's first appearance in 1354 makes me sceptical.

Who do you think sent these angels to speak with men? Do they not represent God?

The book "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" states that an angel came and signified it to his servant John. This means that all of Revelations is symbolic. I believe in the historicist point of view that 90% of the prophecies in this book have already happened.

I believe you are trying to fulfill the commands of Jesus and trying to live a righteous life but I hope one day you can stop questioning the Bible and accept it as the inspired word of God. Jesus promised us that his word will never pass away, what do you think that means? The fact that the Bible has survived for thousands of years is what I think of when I read that verse.

Watch what Bibles you use as many have been corrupted. I think the Geneva and the King James are the most accurate.

Have a great day.

I made a new post to share what I think is the most accurate bible. How's that?

PS, I wrote a post some time back showing that the shroud of Turin was a major inspiration for spreading Christianity throughout the ancient world. It was only a small portion of the shroud that was sewed onto it that was C14 tested, so it didn't test the shroud itself. Pollen and other dust on the shroud show that it came from the 1st century. The image was not painted on, but was made by intense light, which apparently was Jesus' resurrection. If you'll watch videos about the shroud you can easily find those that show what an authentic miraculous object it is.
