All of nature and physiology is showing sense and meaning and responsiveness, even the tiniest of photons and weakest of waves and commonest of processes on every level of analysis. There is no divide or chasm between who we are made by and what we are made of. We are free to live by such reason or oppose against it.
What Scripture calls enmity is the orientation of a mind and will to betray and oppose and harm. Whatever is unreasonable is untruthful, whatever orientation it may claim.
'By God we live and breathe and have our being.'
The human was made to be son of God, heir of the care of all nature and creation in God. And we are called to return to this beautiful and simple truth: to value what we have been given and come to regard all life as we do our own in the oneness of the God and our Father who is the beginning in the whole of life and nature and being in their entirety as God who is one and entirely the same and calls us to be one for all creation as God is one and his Word is one.
Hans, if you'd like to write a post about that, I'll publish it here for you, if you like. I might use AI to edit it a little, but then I'd let you see the edited version and get your approval before publishing it here.
Thank you Len. I wouldn't know what to write beyond what I was trying to say, though. (I only wished one could edit his responses. Why is it possible under some posts, and not pn others or all?)
What I would want to say still: David (Ps. 139) was in awe for how he was made. There is no divide nor difference nor gap within us. We are one and that is how we ought to be and live.
What we express as our mind or soul or body or spirit is only aspectual not substantial (material) differentiation.
Every tiny thought is physical and therefore material. Only, we have not even come close to discover the wonder of our lives, and of all life and all matter.
Wind is a material phenomenon. It is air in motion. Likewise is רואח ruach and πνευμα pneuma the movement of God in our lives.
(The traditional pagan platonic, gnostic, catholic, orthodox, and protestant distinctions are made up to trick people into believing a spirit within them can never die. It was the beginning of error and all further deception. Even their rendition of דעת (da'ath) as knowledge is and was always corrupt and mistaken. It comes from yad (hand) meaning to appropriate, own, possess.)
The Bible and ancient myths suggest that Ruach and God concepts initially came from apparitions in the sky, when the Earth was apparently in a different solar system environment than at present. It seems the angelic realm used people's collective memories of those conditions to guide humanity toward humane concepts of God and spirit. Si?
Apparitions? The nature of ruach is it being not person (i.e. name in the languages of antiquity). The first human was son of God.
The skies seem to have been different before the flood-and-ice-age. Not much stratospheric water vapor anymore since. But clouds and rain and snow and winter and summer.
The extensive works of Dan Winter electrical engineer are a blend of electric universe, plasma physics, sacred geometry, as explanation of cosmos from gravity to soul.
As I understand him, in my words, when electrical fields harmonize on Phi ratios, they can become recursive and embed within each other in a fractal "stacking" or "nesting."
Visualized as a vortex there is a sort of focal lensing concentration of waves which create a center of consciousness, and also the "anchoring" force of gravity.
This moves past the idea that some "outside" God has inserted a soul in us, but rather that the Nature of Cosmos Self-organizes ("Logos") in the most efficient manner, and simple awareness will build upon itself into awareness of being aware; and as this feedback loop increases its nesting within the vortical stacking, it blooms in (some) of us that we are indeed this Creative Process knowing IT-Self which gives us an inner stabilizing, concentering (sense of "meaningfullness") that acts as an axis, a pole, around which the Body as magnetic field of Matter is an expression.
I still think it makes the most sense that physical stuff is part of consciousness and consciousness is not part of physical stuff. And caring seems to be the primary consciousness. The laws of nature I reckon are the laws of caring of universal consciousness. Don't you believe that the little stuff is part of the big stuff and dependent on it, rather than vice versa? If you want to write something to publish here, I'll do it for you.
Back in the 1980's i subscribed to the Brain/Mind Bulletin (1975-1996) which had an article about fully functioning people who had very little brain. I told a friend who was skeptical but I sent him a photocopy of the Bulletin. He recounted this in his 2002 book, and I quote from that (sorry, at this late date I don't know what issue of B/M Bulletin it was) :
"A few days later I got a photocopy in the mail of the article James was talking about. It was startling to read in a paper reprinted from Science that a British neurologist had used brain scans on hundreds of hydrocephalics to show that the inside of your skull can be filled to the top with water, you can have a brain the size of a peach pit, and you can still walk the streets like a normal person. And there was the anecdote about the English honors student in mathematics with an IQ of 126 who was socially competent and “yet the boy has virtually no brain. His cranium is filled mainly with cerebrospinal fluid.”

Thank you. Perhaps you have some thoughts.

Winter has many videos and sites. You sort of have to drop and and start swimming! Here's an opening link: https://www.fractalfield.com/physics/

I've read about similar things years ago too. Science can't be bothered with such anecdotes (sarcasm).
