Gittin 57a is the only mention on Jesus in Talmud and they use Yeshu not his Hebrew name Yeshua so I believe it's a different person all together. I don't see the Talmud as contradictory to the bible at all, it's deeper discussions, stories and comentary of the first 39 books. Granted I haven't read close to the 7,000 pages or 7x the Christian Bible, yet I'm familiar with these discussions that are quite flawed in my opinion. The attacks typically are an isolated verse or comment meant to divide and conquer. Traditional Judaism takes an out of site, out of mind approach with Jesus and the other 27 books in the Christian Bible. Some are guilty of spreading misinformation or even have hateful disinformation mal-intent, which I see with extremists in any religion. The only religion Father accepts is caring for the widow and orphan. {James 1:27} Thanks for not saying all Messianic Jews are Zionists because I am a starch exception. I also believe that Jews or practices of Judaism who wield an an antichrist spirit, which is a very real battle, practice the man made label of antisemitism because him and all his apostles practiced ed Judaism and experienced the opposite of loving thy neighbor. We are witnessing the same hatred for thy neighbor in and around Israel today.
